Provenance: unidentified crest and auction label on spine. Binding: nineteenth-century full diced calf; sewn on three supports; five raised bands; thick and thin gilt fillet border; single gilt fillet along board edges; thick and thin gilt fillet along turn-ins; gold-tooled spine, in one panel a crest of two sinister wings elevated; at foot of spine is remnants of printed label with text 'Lot 101'. Burnished textblock edges. Green shell pattern marbled endpapers.
