Transcription (c. 1900?) of original manuscript then held at Belton House. Travel diary, with descriptive and critical comments, of journey from Paris, through Italy, Austria, Bohemia and Germany. Lists of books in English, French transcribed from end of original volume on final 12 pages.

[190 leaves] . 4to. Loose gatherings of ruled paper, written on rectos only, in quarter-vellum boards removed from Crisp's List of parish registers, 1898 (title in gilt on spine, crossed through in ink). Title written in ink sideways along vellum strip on front board.
