[= Sophia Cust, baroness Brownlow (1788-1814), née Hume, 1st wife of John Cust, 2nd baron & 1st earl Brownlow; m. 1810, d. before he became earl]. Bookplate: Belton House (earl's coronet & crests). Old Belton pressmarks in pencil on pastedown: q/9 and XIV.6.. Binding: Sprinkled calf. Coronet and monogram stamped (rather faintly) on both boards.
