Binding: nineteenth-century full tree calf; gilt roll pattern border; gilt dotted roll pattern on board edges; blind roll pattern on turn-ins; recessed cords; gold-tooled spine, with gilt title on black sheepskin label. Red sprinkled edges. Marbled endpapers.
