"l'exemplaire de Lord Castlereagh chez M. le Mqs d'Ormond' [Castlereagh presumably refers to Robert Stewart, Viscount Castlereagh (1769-1822), who married Amelia Hobart, daughter of the 2nd Earl of Buckinghamshire, of Blickling Hall, thus possibly explaining the presence of this book in Blickling's library; or it possibly refers to Frederick Stewart (1805-1872), styled Viscount Castlereagh from 1822 to 1854, who when young was looked after by his uncle and aunt, Robert and Amelia; Ormond is presumably James Wandesford Butler, 1st Marquess of Ormond (1777-1838)]. Provenance: faint pencil inscription on half-titles of vol. [1]-[5], [7]-[9] and [11], varying form of either "Mr D'olmond" or "Mquis d'Olmond" [presumably James Wandesford Butler, 1st Marquess of Ormonde (1777-1838)]. Binding: vols. Untrimmed edges.
