[i.e. Wilmot Vaughn (1730-1800), 4th Viscount Lisburne from 1766 to 1776, when he was created 1st Earl]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Inscribed on pastedown in Norris's hand: Crosswood Park, Trawsgoed, Aberystwyth, seat of the Earls of Lisburne. Binding: Eighteenth-century full sheep over boards; gilt and blind fillets; gilt armorial stamp on upper cover, possibly Lisburne though it does not match arms on bookplate; rebacked in calf; red morocco spine label; sewn on six raised bands.
