Provenance: Late nineteenth-century (?) armorial bookplate lettered Stonor, with baron's coronet. (Not found in Franks) [Stonor family, of Stonor Park, Oxfordshire]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Another volume in set has Norris's note: Stonor Park Library 1939 13 vols. 15/=. S. [i.e. Sotheby's] 3/8 39 Lot 234.. Binding: Nineteenth-century half calf binding; marbled paper over boards; spines gilt; red and green spine labels with title 'Neale's Views of churches'; sewn on five raised bands.
