Manuscript initial on front free endpaper: "M." [i.e. catalogue code of John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742)]. Occasional manuscript marginal annotations in tiny sixteenth-century hand, e.g. on fol. 5, 8, 12-13, etc. Binding: eighteenth-century quarter-bound vellum, with marbled paper over boards. Spine cracked.
