Pencil number "20" on verso of front endleaf. Binding: late sixteenth- or seventeenth-century laced-case vellum over pasteboards with extended foredge; spine cracked (80% lost) exposing four supports of packed herringbone sewing over double cords; holes for two pairs of ties; pastedown and conjugate endleaf; red sprinkled edges.
