Provenance: In ink on title page, in sixteenth/seventeenth-century secretary hands: 'Thomas Norton' (also elsewhere in text, eg. p.417); Rychard Bentley; Hannibal Gamon (i.e. Hannibal Gamon (1582?-1651), Rector of St. Mawgan in Pydar.) In ink on p.216, in sixteenth/seventeenth-century secretary hand 'By me Peter Coryton' (and on p.512).. Binding: Three pairs of disused stitching holes in gutter margin. Some damp staining and damage to paper of final few gatherings, including mud on p.504, slightly affecting text: perhaps from Lanhydrock fire 1881. Binding, quarter red leather and red cloth over boards, nineteenth century.
