Manuscript number on verso of first front endleaf: "8". Manuscript name (illegible) in capitals at head of title page partially lost through trimming. Binding: late seventeenth-century(?) full brown calf over boards (rubbed) with gilt fillet and tooled border. Gilt roll pattern on board edges. Sewn on to six recessed cord; smooth spine with gilt lines to form seven compartments. Endbands with front beads. Comb and swirl pattern marbled pastedowns with conjugate endleaves and additional endleaves at both ends. Red and brown sprinkled edges.
