Provenance: manuscript inscriptions (presumably ownership inscriptions) on verso of title page and beneath colophon on final leaf have been scribbled over in ink and then obscured with a blank slip of paper pasted over them. Binding: eighteenth-century full sprinkled calf; double gilt fillet and blind roll pattern border; gilt roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spine (delaminated); gilt title on brown leather label on spine. Red sprinkled textblock edges. Comb and swirl pattern marbled endpapers.
