Former Felbrigg shelfmarks in pencil on front endpaper "P6" (crossed-out) and "O6", and in ink on rear endpaper: "N7". Binding: eighteenth-century full sprinkled calf; sewn onto five sewing supports; gilt roll pattern on board edges; gold-tooled spine; gilt title 'Thucid-ides' on brown leather on spine and lozenge-shape paper label at head of spine; comb pattern marbled endpapers; bookblock edges stained red.
