Summary
An engraving entitled "David" by Jacques Chereau after a painting by Dominique Feti. David stands sideways on, one hand on his hip, he has curly hair and wears a fur cloak. On the other hand he holds a sword in front of which is the head of Goliath. Inscription reads "David, tableau de Dominique Feti, qui est dans le cabinet de M.Crozat".
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
