Summary
One of a set of three crayon brass rubbings in black from a medieval tomb belonging to Roberti Braunahe and his two wives. The women, one on either side of Robert, wear long headdresses and gowns and have their hands pressed together in prayer. Below the figures is a scene showing seated figures feasting. A Latin inscription around the edges.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
