Summary
A large stuffed red deer head. Long nose, fawn coloured fur, dark on the forehead, lighter around the eyes and cheeks. Long rough textured antlers with white tips. Each having two lower points, and splitting into two points at the top. Mounted on a long mahogany shield.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
