Summary
A large stuffed red dear head. Fawn coloured fur, dark on the forehead, lighter around the eyes and cheeks. Long pale coloured antlers with white tips. Each having three points lower down, the upper part developing into three short points. Mounted on a long mahogany shield.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
