Summary
A large stuffed head of a Red stag. It has a long neck, the head turned slightly to the right. Long antlers, one having four lower points, the other three, each dividing into three points at the top. Mounted on an oak shield.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
