Summary
Stuffed head of a Red stag. Faces forwards. It has a long nose and slightly protruding throat. Long pronged antlers with four points lower down. The main stem of the antler develops four points at the top. Mounted on an oak shield.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
