Summary
A stuffed foxhead on a shield shaped wooden plaque. A price tag attached to the ear is inscribed 'Miss A. Crewe, for head on shield, 21/06' In a moth-eaten condition, the head was unfixed from the mount and has been refixed, but is loose.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
