Summary
One of three livery waistcoats, possibly worn with CAL/T/851. 19th Century, Navy blue wool fronts, black cotton backs, lined with white cotton. Silver braid edging. Pointed lower front edges. Red plush pocket flap for a false pocket, edged with silver braid and with three steel buttons with the Harpur Crewe coat of arms underneath. The back has two straps one with a buckle. The waistcoats fasten with hooks and eyes on the inside front. One waistcoat has the initials 'E.W.R.' inside.
