Summary
One of three pairs of royal blue, plush, livery breeches. 19th Century. Two pairs have a wide waistband, a 'V' at the back which forms two flaps which fasten at the front and a wide flap at the front, all fasten with buttons. The other pair has a narrower waistband, a vent at the front which fastens with buttons. Two pockets. All pairs are narrow at the knee and fasten with three steel buttons with the Harpur Crewe coat of arms. Edged with silver braid and buckle and a tassel.
