Summary
B51 Derbyshire Yeomanry Cavalry uniform; a) jacket of navy blue wool cloth with scarlet trimmings. The upright collar is of scarlet cloth with gold braid edging, an embroidered crown each side. The cuffs are scarlet cloth with gold braid inner edging sewn into a pointed looped design. Two small buttons hold the gold lapetts and eight giltmetal buttons are down the front, buttons also around back vent. The buttons by Firmin and Sons with Derbyshire Y.C. cast design. Brown quilted lining.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
