Summary
Black woollen dress trousers which is part of the dress uniform of Sir Vauncey Harpur Crewe and a label inside the trousers is inscribed with 'V.H. Crewe Esq./Deputy Lieut/Scarlet'. The dress trousers have a band of silver thread braid down the outside of the leg. They are full-length trousers with a shaped hemline and the top is shaped, with inside buttons marked; 'Thompson & Son/Derby'. There is one small pocket at the waist and a grey stripe around the waist lining. BN14
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
