Summary
A square terracotta plaque (a) with the death mask of Lady Jane Crewe. The face, which has ringlets either side, has a shawl draped around it and is set in an oval. The plaque has its own pine box (b) with a hinged lid. A label on the outside reads; 'Sir J. Harpur Crewe, Bart, Calke Abbey, Ashby de la Zouch, with care, fragile', and an Ashby railway sticker.
