Summary
One of a pair of George IV gadrooned oblong entree dishes and covers, each with bold outset shells to the angles, the boar handles formed as the Harpur crest and engraved with contemporary armorials by E. Thomason, Birmingham, 1827, together with a pair of Sheffield plate two handled bases, with a lion mask headed paw feet.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
