Summary
An elaborate brass, three part, photograph frame of Lord Norton and the Adderley family. Late 19th centry. The central photograph is of Lord Norton, with side whiskers, seated, in a dark coat. The frame on his left has five small oval photographs of his five sons and the frame on the right has five small oval photographs of his five daughters. The brass frame is pierced with an ornate acanthus motif. The three sections fold inside each other and the top one has decorative engraved brass motifs on each corner and in the shape of a cross in the centre. These are studded with circular black marble discs inset with small white and green marble flowers. The frame has a stand at the back. Produced by Howell.
