A photograph of a late 19th century drawing room, in an unknown house, but probably a property once belonging to the Harpur Crewes. In the foreground is a square table with shelves under for books. A table in the middle of the room is also piled with books. There are many chairs. The picture is taken by Hughes and Mullins of Ryde. In a giltwood and ebonised frame.
