Portrait miniature, watercolour on ivory Anne 'Nanette' Hawkins, Lady Crewe (1765/6-1827) attributed to Joseph Jackson II (fl.1816 - Charleston USA 1850). Half-length portrait of a woman in a high frilled bonnet, white ruff, black dress and scarlet Indian shawl festooned with gold chains and buckles. Light brown eyes, fair hair (or wig), greenish complexion, red lips. Speckled grey background.
