Summary
Portrait miniature, watercolour on ivory, Alice Georgiana Harpur Crewe (1847-1920) as a Young Girl by Octavius Oakley (Bermondsey 1800 – London 1867). Oval. Half-length portrait, facing to the right, gazing at the spectator, wearing a white dress and a blue pendant on a chain. Her fair hair is curled at the ends. In the back is a plait of hair laid under an oval glass with the initials 'A.H.C.'.
