Summary
Portrait miniature, watercolour on ivory, Isabel Jane Crewe (1830 – 1909) by William Egley (Doncaster 1798 – London 1870). Full-length portrait of a young girl, standing by a table with a carved gilt cabriole leg. She is aged about 6 and wears a decollete white dress with short puffed sleeves, a blue waistband and a full three-quarter length skirt. She wears black dancing shoes and her brown hair is tightly curled at each side of her face.
