Summary
A wooden box once containing Yardley and Co's Imperial Soap - now contains twelve metal boxes with glass window hinged lids and on the backs engraved with a decorative picture of a bird, a fan and flowers. Boxes made by Jahncks (?), circa 1880. All contain small birds eggs in cotton wool and are labelled bullfinch, wren etc. Metal has deteriorated.
