Summary
A George Ill ormolu and bronze octagonal hall lantern attributed to Matthew Boulton with arched glazed plates, the frame applied with rams’ masks, urns, florets, pendant swags and husks and with eight s-scroll cresting bars, similarly applied with moulding and with gadrooned multi-baluster foliate finial, terminating in foliage and pieds de-biche.

Padworth House, Berkshire; Lord and Lady Iliffe, Basildon Park, Berkshire; Accepted by HM Government in lieu of inheritance tax and allocated to the National Trust for display at Basildon Park, 2010.
