Summary
Arrow heads see CAL/MISC/400. Leaf - shaped arrow head (Bifacial). Neolitic, very finely crafted with etching along sides. Arrowhead would have been fixed into the end of a wooden arrow shaft with resin and twine. Sometimes thought that the bifacial types were specially made for show and nitual ceromonis rather than as a tool for practical use.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
