Summary
One of six medals with silver plated mounts, the centre a plaster cast covered with glass each side. One side is cast with an oak wreath, inscribed around it; 'Birmingham and Midlands Counties Exhibition/Established 1849'. Inside the exhibitor's name is engraved with the date and class. The mount is plain, the ring handle with floral cast decoration. Dated 1867, for a long horn ox n.b the reverse of the medal is cast with long horn and short horn cattle, a pig and sheep, in relief, 'Ottley Medallist, Birmingham' below. In a leather case with a velvet and satin lining.
