Summary

A Davy Lamp with a brass base which holds the oil and the wick. Glass central section. Alluminium top section with ventilation flues at the top, caped and with a small ring. Plate on front reads:- 'J.H.Naylor - Lt. Wigan, Manufacturers of miners' safety lamps, gun, metal boiler mountings and valves'.
