Georgian Gold Ring, c. 1827. Of coiled serpent design with small locket compartment to the centre containing hair under a glazed cover. Engraved on the back of the bezel 'N.Crewe Ob. 20 March 1827 Ae 61'.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
