Summary
A pair of hair combs, c. 1845, with pinchbeck frames of leaf spray and floral design, each set with three white glass flowerheads. One with damaged tortoiseshell comb. The combs are presented in a Georgian shagreen buckle box.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
