Original fitted case for a set of three gold dress studs, c. 1845. Narrow oblong case in a red-brown leather with a cream satin and velvet lining.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in 1985 in lieu of CTT with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
