Summary
Wall (banjo) barometer. Face engraved 'Lion and Farone No 132 Holborn'. Round face in a mahogany case with round extension below, baluster shape above. Inlaid roundel of shaded box as a floret on a harewood ground at the top, another at the base. Shaded box shells on an oval harewood ground in the widest part of the baluster. Thermometer in arch-topped frame in the upper part. Edges inlaid with box and ebony chequering.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
