Summary
Barometer in an ebony case by J. Davis (Optician) Derby. The barometer is a squared section at the top of the case, a scale on the left headed; '10am. yesterday' and on the right; '10am to-day'. Two ivory knobs can be used to regulate the scale. The thermometer is on the stem of the case, a rounded lower end with a projecting convex centre. 19th century.
