Summary

Mahogany French style writing desk c.1835 with a cabinet juxtaposed to a leather-topped writing table. The table has a pair of tapered reeded legs on brass castors, figured mahogany panels in the frieze. Box-like cabinet top with swivel panel in the front, five pairs of drawers below. Brass fret-rail around sides and back with pierced quatrefoils. Solid base.
