Summary
Mahogany specimen cabinet with four doors on the front. The centre two doors recessed, the narrow outer doors on two pairs of carved paw feet. The top edge moulding is gadrooned and painted green. Lower edge moulded, the doors panelled. In the centre are four open shelves, ten specimen drawers either side, cedarwood inside, cock-beaded with ebony and with giltmetal knobs cast with lion's heads in the centre. Secret cupboard at the back right side with four shelves made to fit barrels from the barrel organ (CAL/MUS/9). Carved paw feet at the back corners, four squared feet on castors.
