Summary
A satinwood crossbanded and inlaid rosewood two tier Sutherland table, English, circa 1890-1900. Both tiers with hinged tops with canted corners, held by twin turned end supports, raised on cheval feet with further hinged legs to support the top of the lower tier when open.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
