Summary
Small cabinet veneered with walnut, two hinged doors on the front, the interior fitted with numerous small drawers. Doors are veneered with a central arched panel surrounded by stringing, a keystone above. Interior also has a central door with arched panel, carved colonettes either side. Drawers have small gilt metal knobs, lowest drawer inlaid with a sun in ebonised and pale wood. Oval gilt metal eschutcheons. Turned ball feet on short stems.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
