Summary
An oak table letter box, English, late 19th century. With a domed top and hinged brass letter slot, inscribed 'LETTERS' with a hinged panelled door below, raised on a plinth base.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
