Summary
One of a set of four rectangular four-tier whatnots. Turned tapered ebonised mahogany columns between the tiers. Frieze below each tier, squared top and shallow rounded capital to column. On four ebonised ball feet. First half of the 19th century.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
