Summary
A mahogany cylinder bureau cabinet, English, early 20th century. The upper section with a pair of astragal glazed doors, the bureau with roll front enclosing a fitted interior and writing slide above three long drawers, raised on square section legs and spade feet.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
