Summary
A Mahogany specimen cabinet with two short drawers above double doors with carved panels added in the centre (thought to be the work of Sir John Gardner Wilkinson). The top edge is cross-banded between beading. The drawers each have two turned knobs and cock-beaded edges. Doors have reeded edges and panel edging, a wider reeded band on the outsides. Standing on four sqaushed bun/peg feet. Panels are carved in beech and depict Greek gods, within darker frames. inside are two twos of 19 graduated specimen drawers, pine inside, mahogany fronts with small turned ebony knobs. (Beading missing).
