Summary

Sewing chair with ebonised oak frame, cabriole front legs and balloon back with moulded frame and carved foliate central crest. The seat is almost rectangular and is upholstered in a needlepoint cover, worked in wool in red, white and green in a formal pattern. The whole supported on white castors. The braid around seat rail damaged. White floral chintz loose cover.
